"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."
-Isaiah 1:18
everyone says that every snowflake that falls is different. God must have a pretty incredible imagination...right now there is snow falling across arkansas. there is even snow in Texas. Across the United States there is snow in places we NEVER thought snow would fall. Alaska always has snow...theres snow at the north pole. there is soooo many flakes of snow across the world right now...
but every snowflake is different.
God is taking the time right now to get His snow scissors out and cut every single solitary one to be different.
if He cares that much to make snowflakes special...how much more does that say about my being special to Him?
i've realized that for the past few weeks i have been very very negative. lately i havent been as impressed by God's amazingness...and this seriously needs to change.
I told Him yesterday that i just wanted him to amaze me...that i needed something to just put me in an amazing mood. i had a wonderful conversation during breakfast. i read someones blog that brought me to my senses. i went to the post office to check my mail *which is usually empty* and found a check. enough money to pay 1/4th of my car off, get my haircut, have some cash, and still put some in the bank. i went to work and got tipped pretty well. came back to school and slept wonderfully. and now today... i'm sitting here staring at the beauty of snow.
if you're still reading by now...i applaud you...
i'm going to step off my soap box now.
i'm just grateful that God amazes me when i start to stop caring and stop feeling His power.
i'm breathing...and staring at the snow :)
